Counterbalance Forklift Training

Counterbalance trucks are the most common type of forklift in use in the UK today and are the workhorse of most materials handling operating.

They come in a vast range of sizes and capacities from small, manoeuvrable electric 3 wheel forklift of 1000kgs capacity to huge 50,000kg capacity diesel machines.

The most common are 1,500kg – 5,000kgs capacity diesel, LPG or electric forklifts.

Reach Truck Training

Reach trucks were first introduced to reduce the aisle widths a forklift needed to operate in and therefore bring down the cost of pallets stored within warehouses.

Reach trucks are common in all sectors of industry and variants exist for more specialist applications (4 way steering etc).

Electric pallet stackers are an essential tool for factories, warehouses, and shop floors where pallets, skids, or totes need to be moved from place to place and/or racked. Electric pallet stackers have the capability to lift loads for storing them on raised platforms, such as racking or shelving.

Manual handling training

Manual handling relates to the moving of items either by lifting, lowering, carrying, pushing or pulling. Injuries can be caused because of the amount of times you have to pick up or carry an item, the distance you are carrying it, the height you are picking it up from or putting it down at, and any twisting, bending, stretching or other awkward posture you may get in whilst doing a task.

Rough Terrain High Lift Telescopic Trucks –Above 9m Lift

Rough Terrain Telescopic Handler – Novice Operator is for operators with little or no previous experience using a rough terrain telescopic handler truck over 9m.  Delegates will gain suitable and sufficient understanding of current legislation, best practices and the safe use of Rough Terrain Telescopic Handlers in line with current approved methods and manufacturer’s instructions.
